Style: Representational Visionary

Technique:
I embark on an expedition through mystical realms charted anew with mixed watermedia. I never create a work quite the same way as before. I may start with a full sheet of Arches roughpress and blow into pools of watercolors through a bamboo straw… Or perhaps I find nature treasures in the forest and impress them onto gesso-spattered Tapacloth, then scumble in color gradations...My angelic muses appear and guide my vision. I incorporate carefully researched significant symbology, sacred geometry, and ethnically rich diverse mythology, deriving models from every source imaginable, including the mirror and sketches from my dreams. The resultant windows into glowing infinity encase intricately woven, multilayered veils of translucent depth and ancient mystery. They hold ever transforming hidden keys just waiting to be discovered by the appreciator—inviting the child within us all to unlock the wonders of fantasy. I engage in rich and subtly complex color themes, and pay meticulous attention to detail.

I often embellish the works with unique hand-decorated borders and framing. I also delight in writing informative descriptions of multicultural intrigue, distilling its graceful essence, which accompany every piece.

Philosophy:
Divine Love is All. My passion is to share this multidimensionality authentically through the sacred gift I’ve been given in this lifetime, which is artistic expression. Certainly, I always strive to interpret the beautiful exquisiteness with utmost precision and eloquence. Before I begin, I call upon the Universal life energy. In meditational prayer Love’s pure light flows through my eyes and hands. Each piece is a special kind of blessing. With my deepest heart’s devotion I wish to inspire compassion, reverence for all beings, remembrance, fascination, magic and celebration.

Migration to Maui:
I grew up in several locations within America and Europe. I then traveled worldwide for years until arriving to warm, enchanting Hawaii.
