Philosophy:
On each voyage to Maui I become inspired to paint more and more images of the most simplistic items of beauty found there such as an old church, an unusual plant, flower or tree, all then combined which result in colorful Maui landscapes. I am very humbled and pleased each time a collector feels a connection with one of my pieces and am very grateful for this natural gift.

Art Background:
I began painting as a hobby three years ago at my doctor’s suggestion and continued with more formal instruction in technique and composition from Los Angeles area art instructors and colleges.

Birthplace & Migration to Maui:
I was born and raised in the South of France and immigrated to the U.S. in 1991 to pursue my then career as a thoroughbred race jockey, and plan to move to Maui in 2006..
